New Zealand Photographer, Caitlin Finnerty, documents her travels throughout the Falkland Islands. Follow her as she encounters an amazing range of wildlife including Gentoo and Rockhopper penguins, Magellanic penguins, King penguins, Elephant seals, Sea lions, Albatross and Caracaras (one of the rarest raptors in the world).
Caitlin also experiences the warmth and hospitality of the Falkland Island people and visits a Ram and Fleece show, New Years horse racing, extreme off-roading and more.
See why she concludes that the Falkland Islands are a photographer's paradise..."getting a great photo is so easy, it almost feels like cheating"
Wonder why they are called "Kings"? Filmed at the Neck on Saunders Island and at Volunteer Point.
Every night at about 5pm on Sealion Island, thousands of gentoo penguins return home to their colony.
Elephant Seals on land...don't really make a lot of sense!
The beautiful Black Browed Albatross filmed on Saunders Island at the Neck and at the Rookary.
